It looks like Manchester United’s transfer window has started off beautifully well. This is one transfer saga that has had so many twists and twirls along the way. Somehow though, the guy is still a Manchester United player and luckily so.
The latest report on a certain Spaniard in our squad is that the club are confident of keeping him at the club despite interest from Spanish champions, Real Madrid. According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are confident of keeping David de Gea at the club despite the interest from Real.
The news should come as a huge sigh of relief as De Gea has grown into one of the best goalkeepers in the world. It would even be right to say he is the best goalkeeper in the world.
Obviously, our fans were delighted at the news and to be hearing it so early in the transfer season is so relieving. Just like usual, the United faithful took Twitter to express their joy regarding the news and we managed to gather few tweets and put them together. Have a read!
Now this is a rumour that I really want to come true, even tho we have great back up in ROMERO no one is better than @D_DeGea @ManUtd #MUFC https://t.co/weRo8VrQ9h

If De Gea doesn’t want to leave then #mufc should not sell him regardless of any incoming offer. It’s time Madrid were told where to go!
