It’s started! We repeat. It has started! Media are certainly running out of news and they’ve begun creating them for the sake of it and this has been happening for a long time now. Days are gone when we use to take news articles seriously. We now laugh at most of them, and the one below is something similar. You’d have probably read this statement so many times but anyway, it has surfaced again, and we bring it to u.
Manchester United star David De Gea has told his friends that he is moving to Real Madrid in the summer. Sighing already? We did too!
According to Diario Gol, David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid is all but done, and claim that Perez is desperate to announce the deal as soon as possible. The Spaniard has forever been linked with Real Madrid and was so close to joining the Spanish giants back in 2015 until a technical fault stopped the move from happening.
David De Gea has become such an important player for Manchester United, not only on the pitch but also in the dressing room. He is so young but is one of those influential players in the United dressing room. The team sees him as a captain’s material and they’re probably right.
Mourinho has been vocal about De Gea’s future, with the Old Trafford chief claiming his key man will be on their pre-season tour.
When asked about when United fans can expect to see De Gea again, Mourinho said:
“David? I think the first match against LA Galaxy in pre-season. I hope to play Sergio in the Europa final. David is top of the world and obviously we want to keep him.”
Manchester United take on Ajax in the Europa League final and the game is the team’s only chance to enter the Champions League group stages. Romero has been the preferred goalkeeper in United’s Europa League campaign this season and it looks like that is set to remain for the final as well.
De Gea is a fan favourite at Manchester United and is well respected within the club. He has grown in stature over the years and though his head was turned a couple of years back, it seems like he’d stay put at Old Trafford this time around.
We feel that we fans do not have to worry about De Gea’s future at the club. What is your opinion on this?
