Manchester United are reportedly willing to do some business in the summer, using the on-loan winger Adnan Januzaj as a bargaining chip. The winger is currently on loan at Sunderland and it is now believed that United are planning to offer cash plus Januzaj if the chance arises to sign one of their targets using this option.

Adnan Januzaj made his breakthrough at Manchester United under David Moyes and it looked as though he was going to be great. But things soon started falling apart and the highly rated youngster never really managed to convince Moyes’ successor Louis Van Gaal of his abilities. He was then sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund last season and was called back in January 2016.

At the start of this campaign, he was loaned out to David Moyes’ Sunderland, who are struggling at the bottom of the table. Relegation looks almost certain for the Black Cats.

However, when there were questions about Januzaj’s future at Old Trafford, The Sun have released a report saying Januzaj is not in Jose Mourinho’s plans for the future and that the player would leave in the summer.

They have also revealed that Adnan wants to stay in England if he moves out of Manchester United at the end of the season. He hasn’t managed to nail down a place in the United set-up, neither has he performed well for Sunderland this season.

One thing now, that looks certain is Man United are keen on offloading the winger at all costs. The report hasn’t revealed any name as to who he would be swapped with.

A Manchester United source had reportedly told: “Adnan wants to stay in England. He’s expected to leave the club this summer and is not wanted by Jose anymore. He hasn’t had a very good season at Sunderland either. Talks are planned between his camp and United sometime next month. He has told close pals the Premier League is still his first choice and that he enjoys living in this country and that he likes it here.”

Januzaj has 12-months remaining on his £52,000-a-week United deal, and Mourinho is ready to accept an offer of around £7m for him.

Do you think Manchester United should take a chance on Januzaj and give him another chance?
