Manchester United made it back-to-back wins by grinding out a victory at Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace were holding Jose Mourinho’s team to a 1-1 draw before Zlatan Ibrahimovic slotted in neatly a couple of minutes before the end of the game.
The win ensured United remained six points off the fourth placed Manchester City team as they look to return to the Champions League next season.
The game should have been an open and shut case for the away side but referee Craig Pawson had a difficult night as he ignored a clear handball in the box by Joe Ledley and even a Juan Mata goal was ruled out for offside.
The opening goal of the game came from Paul Pogba, scoring just before the half-time break but James McArthur scored in the 66th minute to cancel out the lead. Manchester United were great value for the win and now set their sights to face high flying West Bromwich Albion.
