The game which was supposed to be an exciting clash turned out to be a rather disappointment for almost every set of fans. Liverpool vs Manchester United; the name speaks for itself as the rivalry is age old and given the recent form of both the teams, it should have been a goal-scoring fair.
Well, the game ended as a goalless draw and both the sides had to settle down with a point. Liverpool had their fair share of chances, but thanks to the brilliance of David De Gea, the Reds were held. The game surely wasn’t that entertaining, but here is something that might cheer you up.
Firstly, the spectators were very much surprised by the squad that Jose Mourinho picked for the fixture. Mata, Rooney and Lingard were dropped and Ashley Young was handed his first start in the league (albeit an injury to Anthony Martial). Furthermore, Marouane Fellaini started the game alongside Ander Herrera and that literally shocked the fans. Here is how they exploded after the game.

With both the sides failing to score in the entirety of 90 mins, almost every section of the crowd joined the twitter bandwagon. Some used the banter, while some turned to politics (humorous of course) and some also used the best of gifs. So here is the best of it:
This game’s so boring I’ve started on the washing-up. We have a dishwasher.
