Manchester United have signed four new players in the squad this summer and while the Premier League season has already begun, until the transfer window closes there is still work for the manager.
According to reports from the Sun, the Portuguese manager is keen on bringing in his fifth player in the squad this summer namely Jose Fonte, however he is having issues with the Club’s chief executive Ed Woodward regarding the same as the latter wants Mourinho to send off the players who are surplus to requirement at the squad and then bring Fonte to the squad.
So far the Red Devils have sent Paddy McNair, Donald Love, Adnan Januzaj, Guillermo Varela, Tyler Blackett, James Wilson and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson out of the club permanently or on loan. Further Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcus Rojo, Phil Jones and Matteo Darmain have been linked with a move out of the Old Trafford.
