Manchester United and Manchester City are set to battle it out for the Italian defense kingpin Leonardo Bonucci as the player confirms interest from both the Manchester clubs.
During the European Championships, the Daily Star Sunday reported that the Juventus player is added to the Manchester United target list and is further being linked with Manchester City as well.
The player who is fully aware of interest from both the Manchester clubs has told his business associates that he is interested in a move to Manchester City.
However, there is a slight twist here as Manchester City are prepared to spend £50m on Everton central defender John Stones and if the success of this deal will see Bonucci stay at Juventus next season.
The 29 year old Italian player has played 198 times for Juventus and has been part of the winning team for five consecutive years.
