Manchester United are looking to sign Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras according to reports from the Globoesporte. The report states that United are ready to make a €38m bid for the Brazilian forward, further the reports claims that United have told that they will table a formal offer for the player on Wednesday.
Arch rivals Manchester City too are looking to sign the player and are already half way through into the negotiations with Palmeiras, however, they are facing stiff competition from United over the player’s signature.
Reports further states that the 19 year old player has a clause in his contract that allows him to join either Manchester United/Real Madrid/Barcelona or Bayern Munich in a deal worth €24m, however, Manchester City are reportedly offering €30m for the player which puts City over the rest of the clubs, however United’s bid of €38m will overthrow all the efforts that City had put over signing the player.
