Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has attracted attention from many different clubs this summer after his excellent displays during the European Championships and now Manchester United too have joined the race to sign the player.
Bonucci played under Chelsea manager Antonio Conte during the Euros for Italy and is if reports are to be believed then the player has already agreed to the terms with the Blues to reunite with his fomer Juventus boss at the Stamford Bridge, however the move has stalled due to transfer fee negotiations between the clubs and now reports suggest that the Manchester United are ready to seal the deal and bring the player to the Old Trafford on a £50m transfer deal.
According to reports from ESPN, United joined the race to sign the Bonucci despite having signed Eric Bailly, as Jose Mourinho wants to add another central defender in the squad. Bonucci is rated at £60m by the Serie A club.
