Manchester United have already signed in three credible players this summer, namely Eric Bailly, Zlaatn Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. It has been a while since United have been linked France midfielder Paul Pogba and the player is reportedly United’s fourth and last signing for the summer, however there are more names linked with the Red Devils so far. And very recently, the devils were a huge boost as Real Madrid ended their interest in the midfielder for financial reasons.
At this point in negotiations, the basic transfer fee for Pogba is understood to start at around £85m (€100m). However, when taking into account add-ons and bonuses related to the success of the player and the club – as well as Raiola’s fee – the total amount United could pay for Pogba’s transfer could reach over £105m (€123m).
Reports from the Football Whispers state that if Pogba decides to stay at Juventus or head to Real Madrid then United’s second best option will be PSG player Blaise Matuidi. Reports suggest that the player is waiting on the wings if Pogba deal fails to surface and his recent travel to England has started a round of speculation that ends at his move to United.
United are reportedly having talks with Mexican side Pachuca so as to bring their winger Hirving Lozano into the Old Trafford. The 20 year old has 25 goals to his credit in 111 appearances for his current club.
Lozano’s father-in-law insists a deal has already been completed and will be formally announced later this summer.
He said:
“Yes. It’s all done, just missing some details and after the Olympics, the deal will become official.”
He added Lozano had already contacted relatives living in London for information on how to open a bank account in the UK.
