Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko with a potential transfer move in prospect.
United are looking to strengthen the centre of the park this summer, as Jose Mourinho tries to bring in more energy into his midfield, and reports suggest that Bakayoko is one of the options Mourinho is considering for his squad.
Further, the player too has a good reason to look for a move out of his current club Monaco after having fallen out of favor under current manager Leonardo Jardim. There are, however, number of clubs looking to sign the player and United may face strong competition from these clubs for the player’s signature. According to the reports from the L’Equipe, Stoke and Southampton have both tabled their bids for the player’s move to their respective clubs this summer.
The 21 year old player made 22 appearances for the Ligue 1 side last season.
