Hull City FC are interested in signing Manchester United player Phil Jones into the squad this summer if current boss Steve Bruce stays at the club for the next season.
Jones has struggled last season, due to injury, as he played the full 90 minutes in just four occasions, with Daley Blind and Chris Smalling cementing themselves as the first-choice centre-back under Louis Van Gaal.
Further, the player is far below in the pecking order for the England National team. In addition to this, with Jose Mourinho signing Eric Bailly the player’s chances to gain a place at the Old Trafford seem highly unlikely.
Reports from the Daily Mail claim that Hull City FC will be converting their interest in the player formal only if Steven Bruce stays at the club, with the manager’s future with the club currently uncertain.
Jones moved to the Old Trafford in 2011 and has been a part of the team winning the Premier League title in 2012-2013 campaign.
