Manchester United have been linked with Borussia Dortmund player Henrikh Mkhitaryan for some time now and as such reports from the Mirror states that United have increased their efforts in signing the Armenian player.
Reports suggest that Manchester United have increased their offer for the player, and the increased bid is somewhere around £28million after add-ons and bonuses.
The player has only 12 months left in his contract with Dortmund and will be a free agent next summer, however, keeping this in mind United are confident that they will be able to land the player in the squad this summer while Dortmund decides to cash in on the player this summer itself as the Armenian player has declined any offer of a new contract.
Having already sold many key players so far, Dortmund is reluctant to sell Mkhitaryan, however United are determined to land the player who contributed to 21 goals and 20 assists last season for the German club.
