A welcome news has come for Manchester United and Real Madrid who were earlier looking to sign German International Leroy Sane, with the latter’s parent club itself.
According to earlier reports from the Sun, Manchester City had beaten the likes of United and Real in the race to sign the player. However, it has emerged that City have not completed the singing of the player and hence he is not yet destined to make a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Earlier the Sun reports claimed that a bid of £40m ($56.7m) by City has managed to secure the 20 year old player’s services for the club next season. However, Schalke has denied the player’s move to the Premier League.
This news has given United and Real new hopes, although one can obviously expect a clear battle between United and City for the player’s signature.
Sane, who is currently in contract with Veltins-Arena till 2019 is playing for Germany in the European Championship, will surely be a good addition to either of the teams next season.
