Manchester United have reportedly been in contact with Adam Ounas’ staff about a summer transfer.

The Bordeaux winger seems like an exciting young talent and has shown that in Ligue 1 this season, leading to further interest from the rich French club, AS Monaco.

The French youngster made his first senior appearance on 4th October 2015 and caught the eye of the fans with a fine debut goal. After that start, he was a member of the first-team set-up for the rest of the season and finished the 2015/16 campaign with five goals and two assists in 15 starts and eight substitute appearances (23 appearances).

Amid five goals from out wide this season, the France Under-20 international has shown some real prospective, and looks like he could right away improve the Red Devils side as they looked rather slow on the wings most of the time. Adam Ounas’ style and path of his career has seen him compared in France with the current Leicester City star and PFA Player of the Year, Riyad Mahrez.

The Old Trafford club are long-time admirers of the skilful youngster, who is widely regarded as one of the hottest properties in European football.

Adam Ounas is valued by the French club at around £20million, but that figure is not the notion to have discouraged United from pursuing the transfer as they gaze to bring in more pace in their front line. Any move for the France Under-20 international could put the future of the Spanish playmaker, Juan Mata in further doubt than it already is.
