Reece Oxford has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford and looks like the deal may actually take place after the teenager has demanded a huge wage hike. As per the Sun, the player is willing to stay back at West Ham but only if given a wage of £40,000-a-week.
The 17 year old has had a breakthrough season and impressed with a few games that he has played. The under-19 England star is also linked with the Red Devils’ rival Manchester city as reports say that both the clubs are willing to pay £8 million for his signature in the summer.
So we can rest assured that the youngster is expecting a massive salary at Manchester as well and if United has to sign him we can add him to one of those highly paid football teenager’s list. While the player has been tweeting about some rumors being fake, it is not exactly clear which rumor he was referring to.
