Manchester United could complete the signing of Jamie Vardy in the summer. According to Bleacher report, the player has a release clause in his contract and the same can be triggered for just £25 million.
Vardy has had a breakthrough season as he led the Leicester City team to Premier League title in a shock title win. The player has also been second highest scorer in the Premier League with 24 goals in 36 games. He has also broken the record set by Van Nistelrooy of scoring consecutive goals in the Premier League.
Manchester United are looking for more firepower next season and after the exploits of Vardy this season he is definitely a good enough option. Moreover the price tag of £25 million is not a very big deal for the Premier League giants. The obstacle in the way is that the Red Devils are not going to feature in Champions League next season and Leicester City will.
