The last time Manchester United bought a player from Real Madrid it did not fare well for the Red Devils. The English giants are preparing to secure another player this summer and will hope that this time luck favors them.
As per Don Balon, Manchester United are in talks with Jorge Mendes about a possible deal for James Rodriguez from Real Madrid. Real are willing to sell the 24 year old in the summer as the player is struggling to break into the first team. The price tag slapped on him is £60 million and not many clubs in the world would meet that.
Juventus and PSG are also interested in the player, but with Manchester United’s relationship with Jorge Mendes, the Red Devils are said to be in a leading position to land the Colombian. Rodriguez is also looking to leave Madrid and apparently put his Madrid house for rent for £13,400 per month.
