Manchester United has beaten Liverpool for the signature of a Polish wonderkid Kacper Chorazka. The 17 year old had a trial at Rangers as well and had impressed. He had also got interesting offers from clubs in Italy and Germany other than Liverpool and Rangers.
However, from the player’s father’s interview it is clear that the player will choose to join Manchester United if he is selected. The player is currently scheduled to try out at Manchester later in May. The father has spoken about interest from several clubs, but has held the offer from Manchester United the highest.
The player and his father both are excited at the prospect of joining Old Trafford as Manchester United has the history of developing youngsters and turning them into stars. Also the Old Trafford unit usually gives chance to academy players to break into the first team, which encourages the players’ growth and development. No wonder Kacper is choosing Manchester United.
The excerpts from the interview:
“Kacper went to Rangers on trial and I know their goalkeeping coach Jim Stewart liked him. Spurs, Liverpool and clubs in Italy and Germany were interested too. But when you get an offer from a club like Manchester United, you cannot say no. If the clubs reach an agreement, then great, but the priority is to develop him as a keeper.”
