According to the Sun, Manchester United are planning for a triple swoop in the summer to strengthen their squad to such a degree that the incoming manager Jose Mourinho will be able to challenge for Premier League title in the first season itself.
United’s current manager Louis Van Gaal is under immense pressure and even winning the FA Cup will not save him if he does not qualify for the Champions League as per the report. The Portuguese manager, on the other hand, is reported to have already sanctioned a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Renato Sanches, and John stones in the summer.
Sanches is being courted by several top clubs and the one to land him may have to pay £40m for his services and Stones will cost around £50m. Big money but United are ready to give these players to Mourinho to build a title winning squad next year.
