3. Still no cutting edge
Despite having 15 corners and well over 65% possession, United failed to comprehensively beat a lacklustre side who were playing just for their pride. Either the final ball was wrong or either there was always one player less in the box, both of which prevented us from increasing the goal count. A thumping win would have done the side a world of good with some huge games coming up, but it wasn’t to be as we, still do not have the cutting edge.
