According to the Sun, Manchester United are actively monitoring the development at Tottenham Hotspur as Ed Woodward is believed to be considering moving for Mauricio Pochettino in the summer.
According to the report ,the Chief Executive is taking advice from football moguls to decide who should be at the helm of the team next season. The board is said to be impressed with the title-chasing side that Pochettino has built and will like to consider him for the position Louis Van Gaal is likely to vacate in the summer.
Jose Mourinho is still believed to be the favorite to take charge but recently there are reports that Valencia’s billionaire owner Peter Lim wants the Portuguese to revive the club after Neville fiasco. United are however not considering Pochettino as only an alternative as the camp of the Argentine are aware of Ed Woodward’s liking for the Tottenham manager. Tottenham are currently challenging Leicester City for the title as the season nears its end.
