Manchester United left-back Marcos Rojo is set to exit Old Trafford in the summer as the club looks to rebuild again. The Argentine defender joined Old Trafford in 2014 but has not been up to the expectation of Louis Van Gaal in the two season that he has been there.
Van Gaal’s future itself is far from certain as there is wide spread belief that Jose Mourinho will take over from the Dutchman in the summer. Mourinho will like to build the team as to his liking and Rojo looks to be going out irrespective of the manager in charge.
Marcos Rojo, 26 year old joined United in a £16 million deal and has declared his intention to stay. However, the player is likely to face the axe given that United will look to bolster in a few positions and left-back seems to be one of them. Luke Shaw has been impressing in that position till he broke his leg but even after he is back United will most likely to keep a back-up more competent than Rojo.
