As per the Independent’s report on Sunday, Manchester United will make Harry Kane their primary target if Jose Mourinho comes to Old Trafford in the summer. The player is currently joint top scorer in Premier League and the Portuguese is said to be a big fan.
Currently 22 years old, Kane has scored 53 goals for Tottenham in 93 matches thus far and given that United had to rely on teenagers like Martial and Rashford for goals in important matches it is no wonder that the player will be welcomed at Old Trafford. However, Spurs consider Kane unsaleable and United will probably have to bid close to £60m to have a chance at getting him. Also they are confident that Kane is very happy at Spurs as the striker feels his improvement is due to Mauricio Pochettino.
If United are involved money should not be an object if Jose Mourinho can build a solid team with Kane in it. But the Portuguese is said to be also looking for a right winger, a central midfielder and two defenders.
