David De Gea had been a top target for Real Madrid for quite some time. The goalkeeper was minutes away from leaving Old Trafford last summer before the deal fell through and apparently Real Madrid will be coming for Spaniard again this summer.
However Metro has reported that De Gea has been impressed by the talks of Jose Mourinho’s imminent arrival at Old Trafford and has decided to stay back. This is after El Pais reported on Sunday that United and Mourinho has signed a pre-contract agreement that will ensure the arrival of the Portuguese in the summer.
It is reported that if Louis Van Gaal stays then he will likely move out of the club. Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United wasted a major part of the season with his so called philosophy and have found themselves in a difficult position currently. But the Portuguese is known for his pragmatic and match-winning attitude and as per the report De Gea would prefer that over the current situation.
