Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked with Manchester United ever since the Portuguese was released from his duty in December 2015. Since then the decorated manager has been out of work but has been attending various games and places to keep himself occupied.
While he has not directly spoken anything about Manchester United it is kind of understood that Louis Van Gaal will not be getting a third term at Old Trafford and Mourinho will be the one to replace him. Now while giving an interview to BT Sport, the manager has confirmed that he will begin work in July.
There has been a plethora of reports in the media that the Portuguese has met with United officials outside of England and a deal is in order. However it is believed that Louis Van Gaal will not be let go before the season ends which kind of corroborates with the interview of Mourinho earlier in Singapore where he said he would like to take over a club at the end of the season rather than mid way.
