No Other Go – 3 Players Who Just Have To Leave Manchester United In The Summer

published :

Manchester United have fallen to miserable heights of late ever since Fergie’s departure, and although it has been nearly 3 years, they are yet to recover completely. Both van Gaal and David Moyes have bought in a number of players and sold some old ones, but the results are yet to justify the amount spent. This season, United have been unceremoniously knocked out of the Champions League group stage, lost to Middlesbrough on penalties in the Capital Cup and are struggling to gain the 4th spot in the League. Under such circumstances, if van Gaal stays or even if he leaves and Mourinho comes, one can expect the cleansing process to continue, and here we list 3 players who could leave in the summer:

1. Marouane Fellaini

The Belgian was instrumental for United last season, as he regularly scored goals and provided the much needed physical threat up front. However, he has been reduced to the sidelines this season, thanks to a combination of injuries and poor form. Van Gaal continues to use him in the midfield whenever he is fit, but it is obvious that the former Evertonian isn’t as good on the ball as say, a Schweinsteiger or Herrera is. Napoli had come bidding for him once last year, and if they come again, he should be let go.
