Saul Niguez, had been heavily linked with Manchester United in the January transfer window but he was convinced by the Atletico manager to stay back at Vincente Calderon.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been a key player for Atletico this season but has not managed to get place in the Spain international team. Now there is speculation that United could move for the player in the summer again.
The Atletico manager, Diego Simeone himself has been linked with a move to Chelsea but the Argentine has denied any talk just a day ago. Also, while speaking to the media he has expressed his wish that Niguez stay with Atletico Madrid and develop his career rather than moving abroad.
Premier League clubs has been bestowed with huge sum of money from the next season and will probably be using clubs like Atletico to be their hunting ground for new players. The other leagues may find it difficult to retain talent a few years from now.
