The Mail, has reported that Manchester United are now favorite to sign Arsenal target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund. Arsenal has been reported to have been following the forward for quite some time.

The player is in sensational form and has scored 21 goals in all competition for the club this season. Dortmund has climbed up the table and will qualify for the Champions League next year but the player is constantly linked with other clubs in spite of that.

The reason for Arsenal falling behind seems to be the price tag on the player which is a whopping  £70 million and the Gunners are not willing to spend that amount of money irrespective of the talent of the player. Manchester United on the other hand, will be reorganizing their squad and want some attacking players at any cost. Aubamyeang currently is 7th in the European golden shoe ranking and the price tag is probably justified.
