Manchester United vs Watford: 3 Key Talking Points

Manchester United are supposedly getting back to their winning after their 4th consecutive win in the midweek fixture against Watford. Louis van Gaal is continuing to take it “step by step” despite the upturn in fortunes edging Manchester United towards the top four.

  1. Watford showed a better display.

The Hornets will leave Manchester disappointed as they couldn’t finish some promising chances. They were more dominating throughout the game and had many chances to take the lead but obviously, failed to do so.

Their best chance came from a corner which was a waste after the centre-back, Prodl nodded wide from a point-blank range.

Ighalo had a chance to end his goal drought from many chances and showed the lack of composure. He also made selfish decisions to fancy his chances by shooting from far distances.

The players successfully managed to keep the United attack at bay except for a few minutes in the second half.
