Manchester United are currently in the fifth position on the table with 6 points below the fourth-placed Manchester City. The campaign has been disappointing at many levels and given all that has happened, the Red Devils are likely to cut ties with Louis Van Gaal in the summer.
After the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland, the club now face a difficult task of qualifying for the Champions League with 12 games remaining. Considering the competition in the Premier League it may very well be possible that they will not qualify for CL which is the minimum requirement at the club.
This has prompted United to look out for a new manager and according to Harry Redknapp, a deal is already in place between United and Jose Mourinho. He was reported by Mirror to be saying that according to his links in the football world, a deal is complete between Jose Mourinho and Manchester United already.
“It hasn’t worked out at all for Louis van Gaal at Manchester United. It’s been a disaster for him. No doubt about that. From the people I know who are in the know, it seems Jose Mourinho to United is a done deal.”
