Martial injury is not serious as per Louis Van Gaal. The announcement will be a welcomed one considering that the young French striker has been one of the most exciting player this season.
The player is the latest to join United’s lengthy list of injured players. During the warm up at Old Trafford against FC Midtjylland he felt a twitch in his hamstring and decided to come off.
Louis Van Gaal has had to face a lengthy injury list of players and as a result has struggled in the recent weeks. Even though the Dutchman has been severely criticized in all fairness, with 14 injured players from the first team no manager would have been able to deliver expected results. Van Gaal had to put Marcus Rashford on to the field in lieu of the Frenchman. Even though the 18 year old academy product scored two goals he is still very inexperienced and Martial’s service will be required for the remaining season.
