A Bola has reported that AS Monaco has joined the chase for Braga’s Rafa Silva. As per the news the scouts from the French club went to watch the player perform against Vitoria Guimaraes on Sunday. The club is said to be interested to sign the player after following him for some time.
The 22 year old has scored 7 goals and provided 7 assists this season for Braga. With a release clause of €20 million and a contract till 2019, it is not a difficult deal for many of Europe’s big clubs. That is why AS Monaco has their work cut out for them. Manchester United, Everton and Porto are also interested to sign the player and if reports are to be believed an auction for the player may be taking place very soon.
If Mourinho is recruited as the next United manager, the work becomes easy for them though. The reason being that Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes holds 50% economic rights of the player and may push for the move.
