Louis Van Gaal has admitted recently that United no longer has the fear factor in them. While the bell has been ringing for some time the Dutchman must accept the responsibility for the sorry state of affair at Old Trafford. Given the statement it seems quite evident that the manager will be replaced at the end of the season at the latest.
Naturally speculations have been going on for the last few weeks as to who will replace LVG as the next United manager. Sunday Mirror has reported a power struggle where some feel that Ryan Giggs should the preferred option over Jose Mourinho to take over Old Trafford in the summer.
The debate that split the United management into two is that Jose Mourinho ensures a short term success while Giggs will probably provide a long-term stability with the vision of United in mind. Also, the promise made by Manchester United to Giggs needs to be upheld where he was touted as the successor to Louis Van Gaal.
