Manchester United were almost sure to end the game with a slender 1-0 lead on Sunday, but for Diego Costa’s goal at the death. Obviously the fans are disappointed and have taken to social media to blame Memphis Depay.
The Dutch winger came onto the field on 87th minute and gave the ball away to Diego Costa which resulted in a goal. Immediately twitter was flooded with fans ranting about Depay. Even in the morning the messages were still coming in. Now many of the United fans are suggesting that the Dutch youngster is not worthy of the jersey and should be sold in the summer.
The winger joined United in the summer with a lot of hope and dreams in making it big at Old Trafford but except for a hat-trick in the match against club Brugge, he has not been able to impress really. With the recent forms of Mata, Rooney, Lingard and Martial, the player is finding it difficult to break into the first team.
