Amid the uncertainty surrounding Louis Van Gaal, newer challenges seem to be appearing for Manchester United. Now it has been reported in Independent that Ryan Giggs may leave the club if things move south for him.
Giggs, a product of Manchester United youth academy has been one of the longest serving United player and currently performs the duty of assistant manager under Louis Van Gaal. At the beginning of the season, it was expected that after Louis Van Gaal retires next season Giggs will take charge of Old Trafford team. However, things may not be straight forward.
Two seasons back he had a short stint as caretaker manager when David Moyes was let go. However its a general understanding that Giggs will not be happy to take charge as a caretaker manager again without the option to be permanent at the end.
Now Manchester United faces a tough dilemma where the fans and the club does not want to let go of Ryan Giggs but are not confident to give him the responsibility of the club as well.
Give Giggs the job until the end of the season to prove if he can do it or not. Don’t tell me he can be any worse than Van Gaal has been.
