Pep Guardiola, the highly decorated Spanish coach, had announced earlier that he will be leaving Bayern Munich after this season. With that news Manchester United, City and Chelsea were all interested in signing the manager.

However as per reports in Spain, Guardiola has made his mind to join Manchester United. The current Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is under a lot of pressure at present and may well be sacked in the coming weeks. While several names such as Jose Mourinho, Diego Simeone has popped up in the transfer market, it is widely understood that Manchester United board will prefer Pep Guardiola over either of those names.

Earlier in Italy, it was announced that Jose Mourinho has agreed to join Manchester United. Now with the Spanish report of Pep joining United its becoming difficult to gauge where this transfer saga will end. One thing is for sure, LVG probably has a couple of games in hand to turn things around.
