2. YOHAN CABAYE, CRYSTAL PALACE
While he isnt exactly a small club player, having made the journey from French giants PSG back to English shores last year, yet Yohan Cabaye has been making a name for himself ever since his Newcastle days. This season, he was reunited with his boss Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace, and has been excelling in the box-to-box midfielder role ever since. His on-the-ball abilities are excellent and he also has a great passing range besides his impeccable physique, all attributes which make him the perfect Premier League midfielder. With Herrera performing poorly, he could be the answer to van Gaal’s midfield woes.
