3 Wayne Rooney Replacements Manchester United Should Try To Sign: Guinness Record Holder And Two 22-year Old’s

Harry Kane

The Tottenham man has been linked to United in the past. He’s been in fine form this season scoring 11 goals in his 19 appearances. His two goals against Norwich took his tally to 27 in 2015 making him Tottenham’s highest league scorer in a calendar year. His work ethic is great and his off the ball movement is very good and his performances have led pundits to compare him to Alan Shearer. His shot accuracy of 64% is the best in the League this season. He is a traditional centre-forward and like Lukaku, he too is just 22 years old and will be a very good signing for United.

Robert Lewandowski

The Polish striker has been in brilliant form scoring 15 goals in 16 Bundesliga games this season. The fact that he’s being used as an out-and-out goal striker is helping him. His positioning is generally very good and he often finds himself in the right place at the right time. Lewandowski is good on the ball and not easily dispossessed. His aerial ability makes him an added threat. He also has much more experience of playing in the Champions League than either Lukaku or Kane. At 27, he is probably reaching the peak of his powers and would make a very good signing for Manchester United.
