Manchester united has been looking out for the Argentine midfielder Nicolas Gaitan. According to O Jogo, Manchester United’s scout was present in the Benfica-Atletico Madrid match watching the Argentine player.
With 57 goals to his credit in both international and club career, Gaitan is a midfielder with good dribbling skills and control.
However, since Portugese newspaper has reported that Gaitan will join premier league, for nearly 4 years, it is tough to believe what may be the actual news.
On the other hand, Atletico Madrid player Antoine Griezmann’s name too comes up in the similar context. The Atletico Madrid player, plays as a forward and would be a beneficial buy-out at any time for the United. Rated 2nd amongst his teammates by Sqawka, Griezmann has 87 goals to his credit since he started playing in 2006.
It will be interesting to see who Manchester United signs at the end of the day, however, with all the rumors running wild the latter seems like the best option.
