Louis Van Gaal’s set departure in 2017 has led the Old Trafford looking out for Gary Neville. The Sky sports pundit has recently taken charge of Valencia till the end of the season.
Van Gaal has been a key factor for Manchester united nearly reaching the top of the premier league however he has been criticized for his style of coaching. While the United has been deemed “boring “ by Paul Scholes, we have seen the crowd in Old Trafford get disappointed by the way the Red Devils go about the game.
Van Gaal who insists on concentrating on the results has a different philosophy. Protective of his players and pushing them to give their 100 %, Ajax boss Frank De Boer believes Van Gaal to be one of the best coaches sans the word- war with those who may disagree with him.
As of now Van Gaal has managed to retain the full support of the United Board and with the 18 months still left for his contract to expire it will be a favorable fact for the manager. Further, it will be interesting to see who will be replacing Van Gaal in the end with Gary Neville being one of the names in the list.
