Manchester United Transfer News
Manchester United have a few injury concerns to address, but none greater than the one engulfing their left-backs. Luke Shaw is already nursing an injury and now Marcos Rojo has been ruled out for 4 weeks in probably the tightest month of the season.
It goes without saying that United are in the market for a left-back to provide cover and importantly, competition to the existing set at Old Trafford. The latest player to be linked with a move to England is Marsielle’s Benjamin Mendy as United are believed to have scouted the player from close quarters during the club’s latest outing against Rennes.
The 21-year-old adds immensely to the attack of his side as he is renowned for his dribbling, passing, creativity and crossing abilities, qualities that resemble the skill sets of the injured Shaw. At 21 years of age, he has already established himself as a starter at Stade Velodrome and would be looking at greater challenges abroad to help his career move on the best path.
