Arsenal beat Louis van Gaal’s side by a 3-0 scoreline, which would surely be an emphatic win on any day for the Gunners. The north London side secured an easy win over the Red Devils, after losing to Olympiacos at home in mid-week. The result would have put Arsene Wenger on top of the world, after the north London side failed to beat their league rivals Chelsea some time ago, who lost to Southampton on Saturday.
After such a superb win over Louis van Gaal’s side, there were some positive reactions for Arsenal and the fans were totally delighted.
It was a comfortable win at home for the French boss, who has been blamed at times to win such high level games, yet the win confirmed that the north London side would secure second spot on the points table.
With just two points behind league leaders Manchester City, things are really looking good for Arsenal, who were keen on challenging for the Premier League title, this term.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions:
Jose Mourinho : “Arsenal won because ManUtd played without Depay, Mata and their back 4. Arsene Wenger is a specialist in failure.”

This is a £10M Arsenal team versus a £500M Manchester United team. I’ll excuse Wenger’s economics for a week.

This @ManUtd side will not win a trophy this season, & after the money spent you have to ask yourself if LVG is the right man for the job.

Some won’t admit as they’re allowing emotions to play but Rooney starting for a club like Manchester United is way above his weights.
