Moyes Must Keep Hernandez At Manchester United – Here’s Why

People outside of Manchester United seem to think of Javier Hernandez as a player who is being treated unfairly at Old Trafford. If casual football fans can see that he is being wasted at the club, then why can’t those who are in charge? Hernandez is a cracking little player, and I think if United, and David Moyes in particular, wants to build a new era at the club, then he’s vital to that.

There have been rumours linking the little Mexican away from the club for some time now but with his agent hinting that the whispers about a move to Inter are false, I thought that it’s a blessing in disguise.

The way Moyes sets up his teams, especially since he arrived at United, is to get as many balls into the box as possible. The strength of the wingers at the club is big, with Adnan Januzaj and Antonio Valencia natural wide-men, and Juan Mata able to play in the wide berth, but they need someone to get on the end of these balls.

Chicharito may not be the most imposing player in the air, but his heading ability is second to none and we all know how composed he is inside the box.

For me Hernandez has to be given a chance and if there was a forward I would get shot of, it would be Robin van Persie.
