If there is a need for a flexible, attacking midfielder at Manchester United, this man certainly has the potential to fill it. Remy Cabella has had an outstanding season with Montpellier so far and as a result his name has been bandied about the European stage in regards of a move, and I believe that no club would suit his attributes as much as United.
The former France U21 international is able to play in centre midfield, down the left or on the right, but is at his best when operating from the pocket of space behind the striker. He is a creative player who looks to provide the killer passes and the assists.
Cabella can hold onto the ball and wait for the moment to release the ball, which is often why he comes across as such a unique player. His decision making is second to none and the way he can utilise the wide players is superb to watch.
With Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini providing a solid base behind the more offensive players, I suggest that an energetic, inventive player would be perfect to sit just in front of that and invite others into play, much like Wayne Rooney did last season, and what Mesut Ozil is currently doing at Arsenal.
