Why Manchester United Need To Use Kagawa

published :

Hearing that Manchester United are in desperate need of a playmaker whilst they have Shinji Kagawa at their disposal is almost as frustrating as hearing fat people moaning that they’re overweight as they shove a cream cake down their throats. David Moyes has one of the most exciting players sat in his reserves yet he’s happy to offer ridiculous amounts of money to players around the globe to fill a gap in their midriff.

Wayne Rooney is nailed-on to take up the spot just behind Robin van Persie, with Danny Welbeck patrolling one of the wings. However, Antonio Valencia has shown no reason why he should be considered first choice on one of the wings and Kagawa, in my eyes, should get his chance.

Last season the Japan international played 22 games for the club amidst a few injury problems, and managed to scored six goals – the fourth highest amount in the entire squad.  And betting sites like Coral Sports would have been expecting the midfielder to kick on at the start of this season.

He accumulated a pass completion of 90%, joint second in the squad behind just Paul Scholes (92%) and created 19 opportunites.

From those in the attacking 2/3rds of the team, Kagawa’s shot accuracy was the highest. The 24-year-old standing at 75%, and he also won 60% of his duels – including 88% of his tackles being won.

Get him in the team, Moyes.
