Musée United: A ‘Different’ Look At Bebe And Chicharito

published :

One of the things that I first thought of when WAFU came to life, was that aside from having the usual content that #MUFC fansites usually have, was to try and do something abit different.

So with that in mind (and the fact I can be abit of an ‘oddball’ sometimes) I thought it’d be a good idea to try and start a Manchester United Art Gallery/Museum on here where United fans from all over the world with contrasting artistic ability can send in pieces of #MUFC related art that they’ve done.

It could be a drawing or a full scale size painting or something completely out of the box.

Here are 2 ‘different’ looking well forms of work that just about qualify as #MUFC art by Christian Atkinson @chris1ian which caught my eye on our twitter timeline the other day.

Christian said he would be more than happy for these drawings to be featured on our site, which he designed on the Brushes app (similar program to Microsoft Paint) on his iPod

As you can see this piece by Christian’s meant to be Bebe, who of course suffered a cruciate knee injury on International duty for Portugal’s U21’s in Slovakia in midweek. As we’ve said before on WAFU, everyone wishes Bebe a speedy recovery and that he can get his career back on track after this.

As for this one, well it’s Javier Hernandez as you can see and Christian’s even put his nickname ‘Chicharito’ on the back of his shirt to add more ‘authenticity’ to the drawing, even though he’s spelt it wrong! I can’t help but be reminded of Mickey Mouse when I see this drawing as the boots remind me of Mickey’s ears, but that’s just my view anyway.
