After the wide speculation in the European media that Matteo Darmian is heading for an exit from Old Trafford it is not surprising that a right-back, Fabinho is being linked with Manchester United.
The report has originated from Sky Italia who claimed that Jose Mourinho is keen on signing the Brazilian right back in the coming days. At the age of 22 Fabinho has impressed the crowd last season with 8 goals and five assists under his belt for AS Monaco. He has been at Monaco for the last three seasons out of which the first two was on loan. The player has also been linked with a move to Napoli and FC Barcelona as both the clubs are also interested in his signature.
However, considering that the player’s agent is none other than Jorge Mendes, it is believed that United will have the upper hand in the negotiation as he is a United regular and also the agent for De Gea and Mourinho.
