Manchester United was knocked out of Champions League when they lost to Wolfsburg 3-2 in December. Naldo, or Ronaldo Aparecido Rodrigues was the player who scored two goals in spite of being a left back.
Recently the same Brazilian has said that he will be honored to play for Manchester United. The disclosure came at an interview just before the second leg quarter-final match against Real Madrid. While there have not been much speculation of a link between the player and Manchester United it is very unlikely that the player would mention something so specific had there not been some development in the background.
Manchester United has struggled to find consistency this season and one of the problem has been their defensive woes where they seem to be extremely unorganized. Marcos Rojo may be on his way out this summer and we could either see the return of Luke Shaw or a new face in the left back position. Maybe even be Naldo.
