Manchester United unwilling to offer Harry Maguire improved financial terms

“No [he won’t be receiving a pay rise]. It would have to be a different salary structure for Maguire.”
Under Ruben Amorim, Maguire has shown signs of revival. He has looked solid in a more organised defence. Still, both parties must stay flexible to reach an agreement. For now, Maguire plans to snub Saudi riches for a Manchester United stay. That choice highlights his loyalty to the club despite interest from elsewhere.
Balancing experience with future planning
If United go on to extend Maguire’s contract, then there will definitely be different opinions among the fans. The Englishman has returned to a stable form during the 2024/25 season under Ruben Amorim, and everyone got to see the stability that he has provided in the backline.
